The river connection between Bratislava and Vienna will be more frequent, as a second Twin City Liner is to start operating as of mid-May, Ronald Schrems, general director of the Austria-based Central Danube Region company told the TASR newswire on March 26.
The transport project, which was launched by the company in co-operation with the two capitals in June 2006, will provide another 126 seats for passengers. As of mid-May, the ships will leave five times a day from each capital.
The Twin City Liner has handled nearly 190,000 passengers so far, with the 200,000th expected soon. TASR
