A record number of automobile models – 74 – will be on show at the country’s 2012 Autosalón, which begins in Bratislava on April 17 and continues until April 22, the TASR newswire reported.
The Incheba Expo complex will be filled with 148 exhibitors from Slovakia, the Czech Republic, Austria, and Turkey. Visitors can expect 42 car brands: Audi, Bentley, Cadillac, Caterham, Corvette, Dacia, Ferrari, Fiat, Honda, Hyundai, Chevrolet, Iveco, Jaguar, Jeep, Kaipan, Kia, Lamborghini, Lancia, Land Rover, Lotus, Maserati, Mazda, Mercedes, Nissan, Opel, Peugeot, Piaggio, Porsche, Range Rover, Renault, Rolls Royce, Seat, Smart, Isuzu, Subaru, Suzuki, Škoda, Tiger Sporstcars, Toyota, Volvo, VW, and Wiesmann.
In addition to new models shown recently in the Geneva car show, there will also be premieres of models produced in Slovakia, TASR wrote.
For the second time, an exhibition of luxury goods and services in what is called the Exclusive Salon takes place simultaneously. The Exclusive Salon will bring some high-end models produced by Porsche, Bentley, Lamborghini, Ferrari, Maserati, Rolls Royce and Nissan.
