The rates in question are the wholesale charges which mobile operators charge other operators for connecting calls on their networks, SITA wrote. In a letter sent to the regulator earlier this year, the EC highlighted the importance of moving to efficient termination rates as soon as possible and called on the Slovak regulator to make sure that its transitional price control measures allow for important progress towards such an efficient cost level.
