THE REGISTERATION and then the cancellation of registered people working on limited employment agreements, known as “na dohodu”, to the health insurance system by employers has won the Bureaucratic Nonsense 2013 award.
The measure received 36 percent of the vote, the SITA newswire reported on October 17.
Companies attending the second year of the competition, which took place between August 5 and October 17, said that since they have to pay the health transfers for employees working “na dohodu”, it is not only a financial burden, but also administrative catastrophe, according to SITA. Moreover, the administration cost of the measure reached €7.13 million, the Hospodárske Noviny daily wrote.
A duty to regularly maintain electric devices placed second with 21 percent of the vote. According to the valid legislation, every owner or operator of electronic device has to do periodic revisions. For example, IT firms with programmers working on notebooks have to do the controls every six months and revision every 24 months, SITA wrote.
The introduction of a new form that is used when paying to the social insurer Sociálna Poisťovňa and health insurers came third with 14 percent of the vote. The form includes new data with pertain to new taxable taxations.
The Bureaucratic Nonsense award is organised by the Association of Young Entrepreneurs in Slovakia, the National Union of Employers, the National Agency for Development of Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises and the Entrepreneurs Association of Slovakia. The main media partner is Hospodárske Noviny.
The aim is to create a pressure to change the nominated measures, SITA wrote.
