Finance Minister František Hajnovič has said he believes the cabinet at a special session on Thursday will not be forced to change the terms of the state budget to avoid overshooting a year end deficit by as much as Sk15 billion. The ministry had warned that the deficit figure could be as much as Sk52.5 billion, against a target of Sk36.8 billion, but following suggested fiscal restrictions, Hajnovič said no deeper changes would be needed.
