THE SLOVAK government has decided that Sk205 million (€5.3 million) will be released to pay for security measures for the upcoming meeting between US president George Bush and his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin.
The meeting will take place in Bratislava at the end of February.
According to the Slovak Interior Minister, Vladimír Palko, the authorities are preparing the "biggest security measures" in the history of the state, according to the daily SME.
Some 5,500 police and 400 firefighters will be on guard for the meeting.
