Canadians to mine in Rožňava

On April 21, the Hospodárske noviny financial daily wrote that Vancouver-based Global Minerals Slovakia is planning to resume work on the flooded Maria mine near Rožňava, in eastern Slovakia.

On April 21, the Hospodárske noviny financial daily wrote that Vancouver-based Global Minerals Slovakia is planning to resume work on the flooded Maria mine near Rožňava, in eastern Slovakia.

Global Minerals also operates a gold mine in Colorado, USA. Its Sk1.5-billion investment in Slovakia will create 300 jobs and revive the local mining tradition. SITA
