The producer of leather components for the automotive industry has chosen the facility in Košice for expansion despite the complicated situation on the car market.

“We’re happy about Howe choosing Košice.” said Peter Malik, executive director of Erste Group Immorent Slovensko, which is the property developer behind the park, as quoted by TASR. “We’re convinced that we’re able to provide the most suitable conditions for this investment and that we’ll witness the ceremonial opening of a hall covering nearly 16,000 square metres in Immpark Košice.”

Howe Slovensko head Richard Duda said that the strategic management and high-quality work of its employees have convinced Howe’s shareholders to expand primary production from Australia to Košice.

Howe Slovensko was founded in 2005 as a subsidiary of Howe Automotive Limited Australia, and it is now well established in eastern Slovakia.
