Polka, of a district court in north Slovakia’s Žilina, was allegedly the ringleader in a plan to bribe Czech judge Bohdan Serafin Sk300,000 ($7,500) to arrange the release from jail of prisoner Marta Kollárová in 1999. One Slovak judge, Pavol Dlhopolček, has already been jailed in the case.
