BRATISLAVA castle has been chosen as the venue for the meeting in February between the presidents of the USA and Russia, George Bush and Vladimir Putin, respectively.
Slovak President Ivan Gašparovič announced the decision after a three-way meeting January 17 between himself, Prime Minister Mikuláš Dzurinda and the Speaker of Parliament Pavol Hrušovský.
The president did not confirm if Bush would visit parliament as well. Since this is a working, not an official, visit, Bush's itinerary is being decided by the Americans.
Gašparovič and Dzurinda will act as hosts for the two presidents, according to the daily SME.
