Bratislava erected its Christmas tree on Hlavné Námestie, the city’s main square, on Thursday.
The 34-year-old spruce comes from the Karlova Ves borough. It is 12 metres tall.
Christmas markets will kick off on the main square on November 23 and will last until the end of this year. There will be a three-day break, from December 24 to 26. All the information about Christmas in Bratislava is available here.
The tree will be lit up on November 24 at 18:00.
