The US news TV channel CNN has published, in its travel section,a story with the chart of nine best holiday destinations for those interested in losing weight.
The Art Nouveau-style Thermia Palace hotel in Piešťany placed seventh in the list of top deluxe weight-loss vacations. CNN stressed that during its history, the hotel has hosted kings, sheikhs and emperors from all over the world. The health effects of the weigh-loss programme were stressed too. The three top destinations include the Live Oak Malibu resort in the US, Garda Lake in Italy and a trip to Senegal.
