Following the special session of Parliament initiated by the opposition to try to dismiss Parliamentary Chairman Pavol Paška (Smer-SD), the members of coalition members Smer-SD, the SNS, and the ĹS-HZDS confirmed that a crisis has been avoided and the parties once again trust each other.
Paška said he was satisfied with the vote's result. He denied speculation that his current status was illegitimate, as only three of 65 MPs voted against his dismissal. Paška also said he was sure he didn't make any mistake as the parliamentary chairman. After having appointed Zdenka Kramplová agriculture minister, the coalition crisis seems to be over, he said.
