THE COMMUNIST Party of Slovakia (KSS) submitted a bill to parliament calling for elections to be held on March 25, 2006, instead of in September 2006, the date by which elections have to take place, the TASR news wire reported.
The KSS are proposing that this is the only item in a special parliamentary session, although KSS leader Jozef Ševc conceded they might not succeed in this.
The Christian Democratic Party has already said it will not back the KSS proposal for early elections.
