The programme was planned to begin with the laying of wreaths at 9:30, to be followed by a speech by confederation chairman Anton Srholec. "Parliamentary vice-chairs Erika Jurinová (Ordinary People and Independent Personalities-OĽaNO) and Ján Figeľ (Christian-Democratic Movement-KDH) have confirmed that they will attend," said Sandtner for TASR. Another event, a large meeting of political prisoners from Slovakia and the Czech Republic, is set to take place in Leopoldov (Trnava region) on Saturday, announced Sandtner.
