IN 2004, the Construction Ministry plans to distribute €16 million in European Union structural funds to civil infrastructure and development projects, the private SITA news wire wrote.
According to the quantity of registered projects, however, Slovakia would need between €50 million and €60 million, Construction Minister László Gyurovszky said.
In the first round, 537 applications were registered, and their evaluation started on March 2.
All applications submitted after March 1, 2004 will be evaluated within the second round; the deadline for submissions is April 23, 2004.
