Inflation in Slovakia reached 1.7 percent year-on-year in April 2013, with core inflation standing at 1.8 percent and net inflation at 1.2 percent, the Statistics Office (ŠÚ) reported on Tuesday, May 14.
Core inflation in April influenced overall inflation by 0.17 percentage points, while regulated prices influenced it by -0.14 percentage points and indirect taxes had no effect. Food prices influenced core inflation by 0.07 percentage points, and net inflation had an impact of 0.10 percentage points on core inflation, the TASR newswire reported, quoting the ŠÚ.
