The Transparency International corruption watchdog has said that Slovaks reported lower corruption in relations with firms and tax and licensing offices in a recent survey, but that well over half said the health and justice systems remained heavily corrupt. Almost 70 per cent of respondents said corruption was a major problem in the health sector, while 60 per cent said the courts and 55 per cent the police.
