The Slovak crown strengthened against the euro by 30 haliers August 6 to Sk44.1/euro, resulting from the low voter support for the opposition Movement for a Democratic Slovakia (HZDS) and suggesting acceptable election results from the point of view of foreign investors, said bank dealers.
