The Hospodárske Noviny daily wrote on March 25 that after the Defence Ministry chose to scrap inflated tenders for cleaning services that amounted to Sk4 billion and that cost former defence minister František Kašický his job earlier this year, the ministry has put each of its departments in charge of administering their own tenders for cleaning.
Emília Sičáková-Beblavá, head of Transparency International Slovensko, criticised this solution is less transparent than a ministry-wide tender. SITA
