Defining idiocy

Font size: A - | A +

Comedian Jozef Pročko is suing a music group for a song in which they call him an “idiot”. Pročko, meanwhile, has publicly said he built his career on “making an idiot out of myself”, and frequently performs his routines in women’s clothing.

“Since Jožo Pročko presents himself in public using an exceptionally simple and gross form of humour, I don’t think the text of the song could damage his public dignity. This comic sets the level of his public dignity himself by his behaviour on screen,” said defence lawyer Slavomír Olšovský.
