A DRUNK woman stabbed her husband to death with a knife she was using to slice bread.
Police say that following an argument in the couple's kitchen in the village of Šahy late on January 19, the woman, not named by police, turned to her husband and stabbed him in the chest with a kitchen knife.
The man later died of his wounds. The woman has been charged with causing bodily harm.
Police say she had 1.9 parts per thousand of alcohol in her blood at the time of the killing - the equivalent of having drunk six pints of beer.
