ANNA Michalková from Žilina turned 108 on April 19 and is the oldest woman in Slovakia.
Born in 1894, the lady lived most of her life in a family house that she and her husband built in 1932. Michalková is a mother of five, grandmother of 12, great grandmother of 18 and great-great grandmother of two. Michalková walks without assistance, using only a cane. She says she enjoys being with people who live in harmony, who help each other and don't complain about how tough life is.
