Of this, European Union (EU) budget funds should account for Sk27.88 billion (€734 million). State budget expenditures are budgeted at Sk330.139 billion (€8.69 billion).

Ahead of voting on the state budget itself, MPs should decide on the final version of some other laws related to it. Among other things the government is proposing reducing the state bonus in housing construction next year from the current Sk2,500 to Sk2,000 (€66-53), which should bring a Sk650 million saving to the state.

The government submitted a revision to the law on court fees to parliament. Increases in the fees should bring from Sk200 million to Sk250 million (€5.3-6.5 million) into government coffers.
