Driving without insurance can bring a Sk100,000 fine

A revision to the law on the mandatory car insurance, which makes it possible to fine drivers up to Sk100,000 for not having insurance, will take effect on April 1, 2007. The current maximum fine for this violation is only Sk15,000.
