Dzurinda criticises courage of judges

PRIME Minister Mikuláš Dzurinda has complained that Slovak judges "do not have the strength to act courageously" in ruling on cases involving high-level crimes involving former politicians and members of the SIS secret service.

The Bratislava III court, which has been assigned seven such cases, has as yet done nothing but is referring two cases back to police for further investigation, and declaring itself unable to rule on another.
