SPIŠSKÝ ŠTVRTOK
The parents of Slovak Prime Minister Mikuláš Dzurinda received a bomb threat on Wednesday, January 20. Dzurinda's parents, who live in Spišsky Štrvtok, had already been receiving protection from the Spišska Nová Ves police department. After the Slovak Government Office received a phone call in which an unknown man threatened that a bomb would explode in their house the following day, police from Levoča, in cooperation with explosives experts, searched the family house. No bombs were found, but police protection on Dzurinda's family in Bratislava has since been strengthened.
