EC bullish on Slovak growth in 2004

The European Commission has adjusted its economic forecasts for Slovakia, predicting GDP growth of 3.9 per cent in 2003, the same as 2002, although a surge to 4.8 per cent in 2004 as reforms begin to have effect.
