THE EUROPEAN Commission (EC) has offered Andrea Elschekova-Matis the job as new head of the EC Delegation to Slovakia, the SITA news agency reported.

It is now up to the diplomat to accept or decline the EC offer. If she accepts, Elschekova-Matis would take over from Eric van der Linden, who left Slovakia July 23.
