SLOVAKIA is low on the list of EU states in the area of innovation, European Com-mission statistics suggest.
Of the European Union's 25 member states, Slovakia ranks 22nd, the Hospodárske noviny wrote. Along with Estonia, Spain, Bulgaria, Poland, Romania, and Turkey, Slovakia ranked well down the chart.
Switzerland, Finland, Sweden, Denmark, and Germany performed the best.
