SLOVAKIA’S economy grew by 5.4 percent in the first nine months of this year,
with a total value of Sk975.9 billion (€247 billion), the Slovak Statictical Office reported.
In the third quarter alone economic growth was at 5.3 percent, representing a gross domestic product of Sk336.8 billion (€8.6 billion), the TASR news agency wrote.
In the third quarter economic growth was influenced mainly by increased demand both at home and abroad, higher by 7.3 and 5.1 percent year-on-year respectively.
