Police have received seven complaints concerning alleged electoral corruption related to Saturday's general election, Police Corps spokesperson Denisa Baloghová told the TASR newswire on Monday.
"The Office for the Fight Against Corruption has taken action in all cases," said Baloghová. She didn't provide any further details, other than to say that two cases of alleged electoral corruption were recorded in Poprad (Prešov Region), and that individual complaints were also submitted in Bratislava and Trebišov (Košice Region). The penalty for electoral corruption can be up to five years in prison, for serious cases.
