Brazilian compressors maker Embraco has said it plans to invest a further $20 million into its Slovak operation over the next two zears, bringing to $55 million its total investments in Slovakia since arriving in 1998.
Embraco Slovakia, located in Slovakia’s eastern Spišská Nová Ves region, expects employment at its plant to increase by 700 from the current 1,550, while production of compressors is to rise from a planned 2.1 million this year to 4 million in 2004.
