The European Parliament yesterday approved a draft resolution on enlargement that encouraged Slovakia to reign in fiscal policy, improve relations with Hungary, and form a government quickly after fall elections.
The bill made no mention of the controversial post-war ‘Beneš Decrees’ that had stirred up conflict between Hungary and Slovakia.
