Slovak President Ivan Gašparovič has said that the 14th annual summit of presidents of Central and East European countries in Brno, which finished on May 26, was replete with issues.
One of the topics discussed was the status of the Serbia's Kosovo province. Though the participants said the issue was a priority, they failed to reach an agreement.
EU enlargement and opportunities to provide assistance and support for new member states were also discussed.
The next summit is set to take place in Macedonia in 2008. Serbia is said to be interested in hosting the summit as well.
