BRATISLAVA's District Court I sentenced former MP Peter Ďuračka to three years in prison on April 11 for assaulting a public official with his car.
He was also banned from driving for six years.
Duracka, 45, immediately lodged an appeal with the Bratislava Regional Court. He was arrested in August 2004 and spent several months in pre-trial custody.
