Explosion at Novácke Chemické Závody injures three employees

A gas explosion occurred at Novácke Chemické Závody (NCHZ), a chemical company, on the morning of February 22, the TASR newswire was told by the mayor of Nováky, Dušan Šimka.

Nobody was killed but three employees suffered burns. They were taken to hospital for treatment. NCHZ representatives gave assurances that this was an isolated industrial accident that does not represent any threat to the public. TASR
