Export data revised

Slovakia's positive export data for last year is being revised due to doubts about its accuracy, the Slovak daily SME wrote.

According to SME the exports could in reality be as much as Sk14 billion (€344.2 million) less than expected.

Silvia Balázsiková, spokeswoman for the Customs Headquarters (CR), said there were several problematic items in the export statistics and the CR therefore asked the Statistics Office to delay the publication of the overall data until mid-February.
