The former leader of far-right organisation Slovenská Pospolitosť (Slovak Togetherness), Marián Kotleba, confirmed on Tuesday, March 9, that he would take part in the general election scheduled for June 12, running as a candidate of the People's Party Our Slovakia (ĽSNS).
Kotleba and his supporters were members of the People's Party for Social Solidarity, which was later renamed ĽSNS and changed its statutes. The Interior Ministry registered the changes last week. Kotleba said that people want the party to take part in the general election and said that he hopes to bring about change in Slovakia. TASR
