SLOVAK politicians often talk about supporting young families, students, the unemployed and the elderly, but these people are scarce on their candidates lists for the upcoming elections.
The Pravda daily analyzed the slates of the eight main parties and discovered that only 84 out of a total of 1,200 candidates (8.8 percent) are under 30 years of age.
Meanwhile, there are only 15 students, 49 pensioners and 14 manual workers on the candidate lists.
