Prime Minister Robert Fico will submit a proposal that the president remove Agriculture Minister Zdenka Kramplová (HZDS) from her post within the next few days, he said at a press conference on August 14.
The incentive is an official proposal to dismiss her sent to him by Kramplová's party boss Vladimír Mečiar. Fico saod that he hadn't noted any significant shortcomings in Kramplová's activities as Agriculture Minister, but it appeared that she had lost the confidence of her party.
"Considering these circumstances, her continuing in the office is politically unsustainable," Fico said.
Fico said the HZDS has already proposed Stanislav Bečík to replace her.
