Fico’s website hacked

AN UNKNOWN hacker has attacked the website of Prime Minister Robert Fico, fico2014.sk, where he placed false information that he is giving up his presidential candidacy on March 28.

AN UNKNOWN hacker has attacked the website of Prime Minister Robert Fico, fico2014.sk, where he placed false information that he is giving up his presidential candidacy on March 28.

“The information that Robert Fico has given up his candidacy is untrue,” said spokesperson for the ruling Smer party Monika Počátková, as quoted by the TASR newswire.

The hacker placed on the website his or her own text, made to resemble a statement by Fico.

The Sme.sk website also reported that even the website of Fico’s opponent, Andrej Kiska, was not working.
