The Slovak Foreign Affairs Ministry called for calm and a peaceful resolution to the violence that has rocked the Tibetan capital, Lhasa, since March 10. It also said a thorough investigation of the events and each death was warranted, ministry spokesperson Ján Škoda told the SITA newswire.
Tibet's government in exile has reported that between 80 and 100 people have been killed by the Chinese military, not by the violence. Eyewitness quoted by foreign media have confirmed that number and the cause of death. SITA
