SLOVAKIA ended November 2004 with a trade deficit of Sk4 billion (€102.4 million), the Slovak Statistics Office reported January 11.
The cumulative deficit for the first 11 months of 2004 thus reached Sk34.6 billion (€890 million).
In November, Slovak exports rose by 5.7 percent year-on-year to Sk79.2 billion (€2.04 billion). Imports rose by 9.5 percent to Sk83.2 billion.
In the January-November period, exports rose year-on-year by 12.5 percent to Sk824.3 billion (€21.28 billion). Imports rose by 14.2 percent to Sk858.9 billion, reported the TASR news agency.
