Forget the ministers, state company directors are wealthier

THERE are still around 20 property declarations missing from the parliamentary website, particularly those of directors of state-owned companies, the Hospodárske noviny business daily reported.

Directors of state-owned companies and chairmen of regulatory authorities often earn more than ministers.

Political analyst Darina Malová said that this is quite usual worldwide. Directors and chiefs of regulatory authorities are often very lucrative positions and usually subject to very little control.
