Four young Danes bathed naked in the Roland Fountain in Bratislava's Old Town in the early hours of September 26. Afterwards, they ran naked through the square while a friend took pictures.
The men were fined Sk1,000 (€29.4), Bratislava district police spokesman Peter Pleva told SLOVAKIA.
But this was not the first such case involving tourists in Bratislava. Earlier this month, British national George Mallone was sentenced to 13 days (representing time served) in prison for masturbating and bathing nude in the fountain on Hviezdoslavovo Square in downtown Bratislava in May. The court also banned the Briton from entering Bratislava for the next 18 months. TASR
