SLOVAKIA will probably approve the new, so-called asymmetry visa regime with Ukraine by the end of April, Deputy Prime Minister Pál Csáky announced on April 16, the TASR news agency reported.
According to Csáky, while Slovak consulates in Ukraine will not charge Ukrainians for visas, Kiev, in turn, will lift the visa regime for Slovaks.
Ukraine approved a similar visa policy towards Poland and Hungary in 2003 and had offered it to Slovakia too. The cancellation of charges will improve the quality of Slovak-Ukraine relationships, Ukraine officials said.
