"Komárno has been the first town in Nitra region visited by Bruno, as the Janos Selye University is located there, and the ambassador is interested in university towns," said the town’s vice-mayor, Vojtech Novák.

Bruno also attended a conference with students of the local university entitled 'Cultural and Language Diversity in Europe'.

"More than 100 students welcomed the ambassador. There were various questions…. The ambassador reacted diplomatically, saying that some issues don't lie within his authority," said university office head Mária Fabo, adding that the entire conference was held in English without interpretation.
