FRENCH car components producer Valeo will build a new plant in the eastern Slovak city of Košice, reported Ondrej Žember, the spokesman for the Slovak Investment and Trade Development Agency.
An unnamed source close to the Economy Ministry revealed that the French would invest around €5 million.
The plant should start full production of mechanic components for car opening systems in 2007 and employ 500 people, the private news agency SITA wrote.
