Before the match, both teams were given a pail of water each for refreshment during the game.

“We enjoy football, and now we have a chance to appear on TV,” the TASR newswire was told by Mario, who captained the Roma team.

The entire event was emceed by actor Jan Kroner, who plays the role of Miňo Demovič, a sly friend of the police officers in the popular sitcom Professionals. The match was organised by Milan Richter and Peter Mrva from the Intergrasa civic association. "The idea was to make police officers acquainted with Roma not only in repressive terms, but also from a different side," said Richter.
